Henrik Lundqvist Gold in the Net Photos

Sunday, October 17, 2010

A photographer Ola Rockberg was at Henrik's Gold in the Net camp this summer and took some amazing photos. Henrik is at the camp only one day each week, but I bet that day is the highlight of everyone's week! Just think, you're a kid that has grown up with Henrik as your goalie idol especially after he helped Sweden win gold in the 2006 Olympics. And now you get him to help coach you! These kids have got to be freaking out.

henrik lundqvist gold in the net
Here's a group shot.

I just absolutely love this photo. I want it in poster size. There's Henrik in red leaning on his stick thinking while everyone is busy and in gray clothing in motion around him. What an amazing photo. This is just beautiful.

Of course one of the benefits of going to Henrik's goalie camp is that you get your jerseys autographed by him! And we all know having Henrik's signature on your jersey means you play better! :)

Henrik is laughing even though he's wearing atrocious knee high socks. What is wrong with his knee? He's said before that he's knock kneed, but is that lump part of the knock kneedness or is it bulging thigh muscle?

He looks so much older than 28 doesn't he?

Henrik remembering a funny hockey story that he's about to regale his young audience with. At least that's what it looks like.

Henrik is sad knowing someone photographed him wearing knee high white socks with shorts! If he has sandals on too I'll start crying. See his wonky knee?

They're hanging on his every word!

Another amazing photo of Henrik as Coach. When he's done with the NHL, if he goes back to Sweden to be a full time coach, I'm going to cry. How will we ever see him again? You know he probably will though. Wouldn't that be amazing if he coached a team to Olympic gold?

He looks so good as an instructor, really helping those kids out.

Where else can you go to get coaching from a current NHL player, Vezina trophy finalist, and Olympic gold medalist?

Henrik passing on knowledge of how to make those spectacular saves.

Loved the photos. Don't agree with allof the comments.

The bump on the knee is a natural part of the human anatomy. There's nothing thats strange about it. And it doesn't seem like he has any serious physical injury either.

Other than than that he seems to be more "Open" with the Sweedish Interviewers or so it seems. Or maybe the American Media is not nearly as nosy as European Media....LoL

Anywho, i like seeing hockey players interact with kids. It's cute to see.

christine said...

I noticed that too that he talks a lot more with Swedish interviewers and seems more open with their photographers too.

I swoon when I see 'tough hockey players' being friendly and chummy with kids. It must be the female/mom genes in us. I think he'd be a great dad someday. He already looks to be old enough!

Anonymous said...

Hahaha - I know right! makes my heart mealt to see a guy with a baby or a young child. Everytime!

I think they will have cute kids Henrik obviously good lookin' and Therese.

For some reason I see Henrik having a daughter. Which would be a funny coincidence Because his twin brother (Joel) Has a little daughter named Vilma. I'd love to see what she looks like now. I bet she looks a lot like Joel.

christine said...

Henrik would be wrapped around his daughter's finger! I'd feel bad for any boy wanting to date her. They'd have to deal with Henrik NHL superstar as the girl's father! It would be terrifying.

I still giggle every time I read Joel's daughter's name Vilma. I think of Vilma from Scooby Doo. Or is it Velma? Maybe Henrik can have a son named Shaggy?

Anonymous said...

Awww - I know. How cute! See now you got me going....

I see Henrik being very protective too. She might be a little fashionista in the making.LoL

It is Vilma because in the Wedding pictures it says it on the Little Hanky, or whatever it is. If you magnify the picture.....

OMG - LOL - I hope not! I'd feel sorry for his son.

christine said...

But just think of the fun - Shaggy and Vilma could ride around in little toy Mystery Machines! LOL I almost wish all of Henrik's kids would be girls so they wouldn't have to grow under King Henrik's hockey shadow.

Anonymous said...

Nah..... They would be the joke of the town and prolly not as cute to others, like it is for you and me. Ya know.

As for the Shadow part, Yeah I mean that's part of it. If the kid chooses that path. Maybe not.

I think he would continue building the history where Henrik left off. Its a lot of pressure, But we'll see in a few years what happens with Hank and his "second half".

Trish said...

Ahem... Girls can play hockey too :) And by the time any of HL's hypothetical daughters are old enough, there could be a women's NHL (or here's hoping anyway...) Even Cammi Granato was in the 'shadow' of her big bro, Tony (a Ranger), and that was 10-ish years ago that she played, so who knows what hockey-family stories there may be for boys and girls in the future :)

And I don't really like to comment on kids HL and Therese/any other woman he may or may not have kids with in the future, but I will say this - I'm not actually sure a kid of his would be guaranteed to look good. Obviously his looks work for a man, but he's got some strong features that might not look so nice on a female :s

christine said...

@Trish Very true, but I don't know of any female hockey teams. There's none here, so I didn't think of it.

Of course Henrik will produce stunningly gorgeous kids, it's Henrik! LOL I have no idea but I really hope the girls don't get his nose. It's fine on him, but it is a little um big. I know, it's almost blasphemy but that nose is the only thing wrong with him!

Trish said...

Not really any women's pro teams yet. I think maybe some Canadian cities tried... I was thinking more along the lines of the Olympics, which is pretty much the biggest stage for women's hockey right now. So it would only be every 4 years, but guaranteed, if HL had a daughter make it to that level of hockey, she'd very much be known as his kid. It would be unavoidable :)

Also, I'd rather not think about his hypothetical kids being the age to play pro/Olympic sports. That would also make MY hypothetical kids that same age (I'm the same age as HL), which makes me feel old :p

And yep, the nose is what I'd be afraid of on a girl. And the chin/jaw... Put it this way, if HL decided to switch teams and start cross-dressing, I don't think he'd make a very pretty transvestite, lol. So you'd hope any hypothetical daughter looked more like her hypothetical mother. Although even Therese, while pretty, seems to have eyes that are really close together.

Meh. He doesn't have kids. Yet. Or perhaps never. So it's all moot :p

christine said...

I like his chin/jaw! But yeah, that nose. We should find one of those websites where you can merge two photos to see what the baby would look like.

I've noticed that about her eyes too.

Yeah, Henrik is too manly to look good as a woman. But I'm sure he's got a gay following! He's handsome and dresses very well.

Anonymous said...

Lets d0 that - the merging thing

and then post it here, on the Blog!!!

And don't forget those long eyelashes, lol.

It doesn't really look like either of them. :(

Anonymous said...

Well it's not tottaly ugly........Which is a good thing.

Kinda cute actually......

Def a huge mess of the features....not sure who it looks more like......???

christine said...

I know. Maybe I should find a different baby making website and try it.

Anonymous said...

Try it.........It's kinda fun.

Trish said...

Ha. That site is ridiculous. And a time-waster... Not only can you morph babies, but you can also morph HL with HL to create the ultimate HL picture, lol. Or HL with JL to create their reclusive and rarely sighted triplet brother, whom I shall dub Lars, lol.

Not that I tried those things or anything... ;)

christine said...

LMAO I wanna see Lars!

Trish said...

Hmm... Curious. Lars sometimes looks more like JL, others more like HL. Either that or they're quints and the long-lost Bjorn and Sven decided to make an appearance too ;)

Wow. They really look like Joel. Joel gives Henrik a wider jaw and wider nose. That third one looks more like Henrik. LOL Henrik, Joel, Lars, Bjorn, Sven the HOT LUNDQVIST QUINTS!

Your kinda sick(not in a good way)......disgusting.

christine said...

@anonymous It's not sick at all. It's stupid fun.

Trish said...

@Anon - it's not morphing brothers together to make babies incestually, it overlays photos. Did you even look at the site? There are tons of random combos of celebrities just to see what a mix of their features would look like as adults, not children.

To be quite honest, I find it more offensive to comment on the children that HL 'should' be having.

christine said...

@Trish I believe this is the same anonymous commenter that leaves random negative comments on various posts. I ignore them because they really don't make sense re: what they're complaining about.

christine said...

@anonymous of the 12:26pm comment. I can't understand your sentences of what you're trying to say.

Yes Trish and I were discussing morphing baby photos with another anonymous commenter which was not you.

Your 2nd paragraph in your comment I can't figure out or understand. I talked with that anonymous person (not you) and Trish about making baby photos and never turned my back on them. I said it was stupid fun as in not a negative thing to say but that it's fun.

As for the 3rd paragraph again I don't know what you're referencing. I told Trish to ignore you because you make weird negative comments on my posts and that's true. And you're doing it again.

I don't have an imaginary perfect world, I just keep a blog about Henrik. If I kept a blog about mice and had some one keep coming up with weird sentences and weird capitalization always saying very negative things, I'd say the same thing about them.

I fail to see anything resembling a psycho stalker diary about my blog or any blog dedicated to Ovechkin, Theodore, the other Lundqvist blog or any other hockey player blog that I know of. We keep a blog about a subject matter and update it often about the subject when we find information on it. None of us is actively trying to get phone records, install cameras in their cars, bribe doormen, hide in their cars, dig through their trash or anything else a stalker would do. And actually I don't know what a stalker would do other than try to follow them?

And don't stalkers kill or threaten to kill the people they are fascinated with? Why the hell would I want that to happen to anyone? I can't believe I've just tried to have a logical discussion with a crazy person.

Anonymous said...

That was Me, Actually. All of those Anon. comments are from me.

2.About the Stalker Comment. Don't you have a blog Titled "Stalkers Guide to Henrik Lundqvist" with Apartment Details and Street numbers and other somewhat personal info.

And When Voros posted that Photo with the guessing phone numbers you posted a few with comments that I can't remember. But I'll check them to make sure i got it right.

Joesayfan said...

How old are you, Anonymous? 12? 13? I hope that's the case...it would at least explain a few things.

There was nothing sick or disgusting about what Trish posted.

Anna said...

Tough you are to start an arguement on a blog as 'anonymous'. Can't you guys (all of you) just accept that there's two HL blogs and have fun with that? Or, if you don't like it, I have a great solution: starts with an S, and ends with 'top visiting it'. Your comments in this blog (and even more the other one) are ridiculous because it's so clear that trish and christine were just having fun and you were searching for a reason to get angry. If you're angry at the person who writes a blog, then why do you visit the blog?

So many people nowadays who seem to like these pointless internet fights, I don't get it. Nowadays you can comment on a blog and get called names just because you wrote something someone didn't agree on. Has the internet become the place to let everything out that we don't dare to say IRL? Cause people sure are more friendly there.

The stalkers guide was too much for me personally too (sorry christine!). My solution? Not comment and enjoy the next blog.

I'm not picking sides here, I just think everyone who's went too far in this whole thing should start thinking about what they really get out of trying to hurt each other. Hopefully they'll come to the conclusion that it's much better to either accept each other and enjoy both blogs or simply ignore each other. 'Revenge' on each other all the time just gets nasty and destroys both blogs by killing the atmosphere. And believe me, it only makes YOU look even more silly than the other, the further you go.

christine said...

@Anna, I have no problem with two or more Henrik blogs. I reached out to Rose in the beginning thinking we could share photographs and our joy of Henrik. That obviously was not accepted.

She has gone out of her way to harass me and another blog owner and I'm tired of it. Hence the 'tongue in cheek' blog reader of the month award.

I find it unbelievable how mean she is to other people just trying to have a blog about Henrik and other hockey players.

Anna said...

@Christine my advice would be to just completely ignore her and hope she does the same. It's not worth being upset about because she doesn't even know you and you don't know her. I agree that she's gone way, way, way too far. But whenever you react, even if it's tongue-in-cheek, you give her a reason to react again too and this will never stop. I can understand that you feel the need to defend yourself sometimes, but sometimes it's just about being the wisest one and stopping.

I know you didn't ask for my advice though, so feel free to ignore it. It's just that I have a good time reading this blog (I see that most of it is very tongue-in-cheek and there's no stalking going on at all) and I don't like to see it turning into an (in my eyes) completely pointless fight that only hurts people.

So even if you feel incredibly angry now, which I can imagine, I would answer by NOT giving a reaction. Sometimes there is just no better way of reacting to nasty behaviour than to not react at all. And I'd hate to see you loose your fun for this blog.

christine said...

@Anna I don't know how far she's gone actually. The last I heard was that she told her parents on me (OH NOES!) and was going to post personal photos of me and info from my weight loss blog (no idea how she found it, it's on sparkpeople.com for god's sake) on her blog. All because I awarded her 'blog reader of the month' and posted a public photo of her in which you could barely see her! The rest of the paragraphs got put up later after her emails got nasty.

I'm not mad, probably because I refuse to go to her blog and see what's she's done, but I find it all extremely amusing. She is so very controlling and it is just funny watching them flip out over something they have no control over.

I refuse to give in to her bullying and threats because I just refuse to let bullys get their way. I had no plans as of Sunday to do anything else. Exposing her hypocrisy and threats was enough. If she posts my address and starts enticing people to go after me, then I'll contact the police.

I JUST LAUGH AT YOU CRAZY PEOPLE.

CHRISTINE, YOU BASICALLY COPIED ROSES BLOG. YOU JUST TOOK THE CONTENT AND POST IT HERE. IT'S PRETTY OBVIOUS. KUDOS!

AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHO HL WAS UNTIL YOU DISCOVERED ROSE'S BLOG!

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO PLAY FAIR. BUT WHEN SOMEONE STARTS WRITTING LIBEL

a.A false publication, as in writing, print, signs, or pictures, that damages a person's reputation.

THEN YOU ARE GONNA GET WHATS COMIN' TO YA!

AND YOUR 'tongue in cheek' blog reader of the month award.
JUST SHOWS YOUR TRUE COLORS. AND HOW REALLY PATHETIC YOU ARE. KEEP WRITING LIES....IGNORANCE IS BLISS,RIGHT?

christine said...

@anonymous
1. If you've followed her blog you know that her design has been changed to match mine and that many of her posts show up within 1 hour of my 1st post on the subject. Notice her gold in the net photos post - who posted it first? You have your answer as to what's going on.

2. I have explained this before, but I found out about Henrik from the top 50 hottest Olympic athletes post on ONTD.

3. Libel has to be false. All I've about her is true. I know the law.

Anonymous said...

ALL OF THAT IS YET TO BE DETERMINED...

BUT I STILL BELIEVE THAT WHAT YOU DID WAS WRONG.

IF YOU WANTED TO PRESERVE YOUR OWN REPUTATION THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE POSTED THE 'tongue in cheek' blog reader of the month award.

TROWING DIRT AT SOMEONE ELSE DOES NOT MAKE YOU A BETTER PERSON.

christine said...

@anonymous "TROWING DIRT AT SOMEONE ELSE DOES NOT MAKE YOU A BETTER PERSON."

Isn't that what you're doing right now? How can you lecture me to not do something when you're doing it yourself? I believe that's the definition of hypocrisy.

Anonymous said...

DID I CALL YOU NAMES? NO

I'M SIMPLY TELLING YOU THAT WHAT YOU DID WAS WRONG. AND INSTEAD OF TAKING THE HIGH ROAD - YOU CHOOSE TO ACT LIKE D BAG.

christine said...

@anonymous You're not taking the high road now. This all got started because Rose didn't take the high road.

Anonymous said...

YOU CAN STILL TAKE THE HIGH ROAD AND SOLVE YOUR ISSUES.BUT YOU HAVE TO BE MORE OPEN TO THE IDEA.

SECONDLY, YOU CAN START BY TAKING THAT PICTURE DOWN.BECAUSE IF THERE WILL BE ACTION TAKEN(LEGAL OR NOT) THAT WOULD BE THE 1ST STRIKE AGAINST YOU REGUARDLESS OF WHAT YOU CLAIM AGAINS T ANOTHER POSTER.

KNOW THAT.

Anonymous said...

ANOTHER THING YOU BLOCKED HER FROM HER BLOG SO SHE CAN'T SEE YOUR POSTS, BUT YOU HOWEVER CAN.

2ND SHE POSTED THE NET PHOTOS @12:15AM WHERE YOURS IS 8:36 pm.
BIG DIFFERENCE.......

SO I AM MORE INCLINED TO BELIEVE HER OVER YOU BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE EVIDENCE....AND I'M SURE OTHER PEOPLE WILL SEE IT THAT WAY TOO.

SO DON'T EXCITED ABOUT BEING ABLE TO HAVE YOUR BLOG.

christine said...

@anonymous I don't believe I'm the one you need to be preaching high road to.

Have you seen the photo lately? It was changed Monday.

I don't mention her full name, or link to her facebook profile (where the photo was her profile pic available to the public), and her facebook profile was not hidden because when she posted links to her blog on any NY Rangers related facebook page it showed her name and photo. There is no information on my blog that says exactly who this Rose person is. There is no last name, address, phone number, etc. I don't even mention the blog name I'm talking about. If everything I said she did was false, it would still not be libel because who am I talking about? Which Rose is it? Could Rose be a nickname? No one knows because I don't clarify who it is exactly. Therefore there is no defamation even if what I said was false.

christine said...

@anonymous How can I block someone from their own blog? That's impossible.

Our time settings on our blogs could be set different. I don't know what time zone my blog is set at. All I know is that I ran across the gold in the net photos by the photographer, posted them, and then a few hours later she posted the photos on her blog. That is the latest example and not the only one. And I don't care really, she can post the same stuff about Henrik. What do I care? There could be 500 blogs posting on Henrik and I wouldn't care.

I don't care what 'everyone' thinks. I just want her to stop harassing me and the other blogger. There could be others she's been harassing but I don't know of them.

christine said...

@anonymous Regarding your threat I'll get what's coming to me and I shouldn't be excited about having my blog:

From blogger.com:
Here are some examples of content we will not remove unless provided with a court order:

Personal attacks or alleged defamation
Parody or satire of individuals
Distasteful imagery or language
Political or social commentary

christine said...

@anonymous If she is blocked from my blog, she can still see all my posts. She's following my rss feed. You can see an rss feed of all my posts without ever going to the website. You can download photos and video from the rss feed too. So the 'blocked' point is moot.

Carol said...

I hesitate to add anything, for fear of continuing the argument. But I would like to point out that Christine is not the only person that has had problems with the other blogger in question.

The other person made an unnecessary and rude comment on one of my blogs. She seems to have a misconception of what can be done with photos that are readily available on the internet.

Just because she puts a photo on her blog, even if she puts it up first, doesn't mean it's off limits for other people to post as well. And that other person doesn't even have to link back to her blog, because it's not her photo. She simply found it on the internet as other people did.

So the first comment on my blog was a rude one from her. Excellent. She seems to feel that all other blogs that mention Henrik are silly or not as good as hers. When it's really none of her business what other people do in their blogs.

Christine was willing to live and let live and have both Henrik blogs and people could choose which one they wanted to look at (even both, because there are plenty of Henrik fans that would appreciate 2 blogs.) But the other person seems to have an issue with the live and let live concept.

And therefore it's reached this point. Which is not good for any Henrik fans. We all just want to be able to view blogs and have a good time.

Anonymous, if you don't like what's going on here on Christine's blog, then I suggest you don't visit here anymore. You've ruined it for the rest of us. I had stopped commenting much because of your strange, random and sometimes rude comments from the past couple weeks. I didn't want to comment and have to deal with one of yours back. It's not worth the headaches.

If you don't like a post of Christine's how about you just ignore it? That's what I do on blogs. It works wonders.

It will never cease to amaze me how nasty people are online. I guess the anonymity of it makes people very brave and more rude than they would be in person. Or I at least hope they aren't as rude in person as they are online.

Anonymous--I will not respond to you if you reply to my comment, because I'm done with it.
